Red Rose

A Rose is a perennial flowering plant hails from the genus Rosa, in the family of Rosaceae,  There are over a hundred of species and thousands of cultivars of rose. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing or trailing with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles.

Roses are world famous plants treated for their flowers in the garden and sometimes indoors. They have been also used for commercial perfumery and commercial cut flower crops. Some are used as landscape plants, for hedging and for other utilitarian purposes such as game cover and slope stabilization. They also have minor medicinal uses.

Perfumes are Made?:  Perfumes are made from rose oil  which is made by steam distilled of petals crushed.

Rose for Cooking?: An associated product is rose water which is used for cooking, cosmetics, medicine and religious practices. Jam,Jellies,ice-cream etc are made out of rose essence.

Rose for Medicine?: Rose seed is a minor source of Vitamin C which is used in medicine.This and other species have been used for stomach problems, and are being investigated for controlling cancer growth.

Rose for Skin?: Yes it has been scientifically proved that rose petals play a very important role in improving skin complexion
